The Syncfusion DocEditor is an optional text editor that can be used with our Agenda and Meeting Management Essential solution (formerly Municode Meetings). This article will answer some common questions about its use.

Why do my sections, items, and minutes look different?
The previous rich text editor would default to showing all content in Arial 12-point font, regardless of the underlying formatting in the Default Item Agenda Content .docx file. If you happened to use Verdana 10-point font or Times New Roman 14-point font, you would only see text rendered in Arial 12-point font in the rich text editor. The editor also did not support hyperlinks and other advanced formatting features.
The Syncfusion DocEditor accurately displays text in the source font and point size of the Default Item Agenda Content .docx file. While this font might look smaller, rest assured it matches the defaults in the underlying Word Document.
Why can't I right-click to paste?
The Syncfusion DocEditor is JavaScript-based, and browser security requirements prevent access to the system clipboard. This means that you cannot right-click and select "Paste" to paste content from outside your web browser. We've customized the right-click menu to inform users that they must use Ctrl + V (Cmd + V on the Mac operating system) to paste the content. All content is pasted as plain text to match the source formatting of the Default Item Agenda Content document.
Why doesn't my font show properly in the editor when viewing sections, items, or minutes?
Standard, web-friendly fonts (for example, Arial, Calibri, and Times New Roman) will render properly in the document editor. However, some fonts such as Source Sans Pro, Arial Black, Century Gothic, and Bookman may default to Times New Roman. The editor only supports viewing a handful of standard fonts and defaults to Times New Roman for viewing purposes. These fonts are still supported for document creation and will appear as the correct font when Agendas, Packets, and Minutes are created.
