Local Browser Settings and Recommendations

Our Agenda and Meeting Management Essential solution (formerly Municode Meetings) allows you to customize the local user settings to best fit your needs. This article will show you how to access and update your Local Settings and will explain the settings that are recommended for most users.

Access and Update Your Local Settings

1. Click the Local Settings button (gear icon) in the top-right corner of the screen
   
   
   Note: The Local Settings button can be accessed from any page.
2. Update the Local Settings as desired
   

• Refresh session every: Select a refresh rate from the drop-down list to define how often your browser session is refreshed
  
  Note: The default refresh rate is set to 5 seconds. However, you can change this to as little as 2 seconds or as long as 1 minute. Refreshing the session will notify you if anything has been changed in the current screen that you are looking at. For example, if you are reviewing an item in the system and another user uploads a new file attachment to the item, the system will notify you of the new file attachment, and you will see it automatically. The 'Refresh session every...' setting tells the system how often you want the system to check for changes.
• Redirect To Home Screen After Submitting An Item: Toggle this setting on to automatically return to the Home Screen after you have submitted an item
• Toast Notifications: Toggle this setting on to enable the system to display short and temporary pop-up notifications with useful information
• Collapse Item List View Filters Web Component: Toggle this setting on to automatically minimize the filters view on the item list screen when you execute a search
• Collapse Meeting List View Filters Web Component: Toggle this setting on to automatically minimize the filters view on the meeting list screen when you execute a search
• Home - Automatically update inbox view: Toggle this setting on to automatically update the inbox view on your home page when new tasks are assigned to you while you are on the home page
• Item - Automatically update item detail view: Toggle this setting on to automatically update item details if they are changed while you are on the item detail screen
• Item - Automatically update item attached file view: Toggle this setting on to automatically update item attachments if they are changed when you are on the item detail screen
• WF - Automatically update item running task view: Toggle this setting on to automatically update the active/current workflow (WF) task if it is updated while you are on the item detail screen
• WF - Automatically update workflow instance command view: Toggle this setting on to automatically update the workflow instance commands if they are updated while you are on the item detail screen
• WF - Automatically update workflow template list: Toggle this setting on to automatically update the available workflow templates if they are updated while you are on the item detail screen

Recommended Settings for Most Users

We recommend that you enable the Redirect To Home Screen After Submitting an Item and Toast Notifications options, and disable all other settings.
