You will specifically learn how to bookmark the login screen, allow pop-ups, and disable Grammarly (if applicable) in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge browsers.

Google Chrome
Bookmark the Login Page
You can bookmark the Meetings Essential login page to add it as a browser favorite and provide an easy way to return to it in the future.
- Navigate to the Meetings Essential login page
- Click the white star icon in the right corner of the address bar to bookmark the current tab
- Edit the Name and Folder location for the bookmark, if desired
Note: Click More... to have the Edit bookmark box expand and show all folder options at once. - Click Done
Note: Click Remove to delete this bookmark. - The login page has been bookmarked and can now be accessed from the bookmarks bar (if you have it set to show) and the bookmark manager
Allow Browser Pop-Ups
Before submitting agenda items and file attachments in Meetings Essential, you will need to make sure your browser allows the site to send pop-ups.
- Click the three vertical dots icon in the top right-hand corner of your browser to open the More menu
- Select Settings
- Select Privacy and security in the left menu
- Select Site Settings
- Scroll down to the Content section
- Select Pop-ups and redirects
- Scroll down to the Customized behaviors section
- Click Add next to Allowed to send pop-ups and redirects
- Enter the Meetings Essential login page URL into the Site box
- Click Add
- The Meetings Essential site has been added to the list of sites allowed to send pop-ups and redirects
Disable the Grammarly Browser Extension
If you typically use the Grammarly browser extension, it is recommended that you disable it when using Meetings Essential. It can cause conflicts when using Workflow data entry screens.
- Navigate to the Meetings Essential login page
Note: You can also complete this process if you have already logged into Meetings Essential. - Click the green Grammarly icon in the toolbar to the right of your address bar
- Click the toggle next to Check for writing suggestions on meetings.municode.com so that the feature is turned off
- Grammarly has been disabled for the Meetings Essential site
Mozilla Firefox
Bookmark the Login Page
You can bookmark the Meetings Essential login page to add it as a browser favorite and provide an easy way to return to it in the future.
- Navigate to the Meetings Essential login page
- Click the white star icon in the right corner of the address bar to bookmark this page
- Edit the Name, Location, and Tags for the bookmark, if desired
- Click Save
Note: Click Remove bookmark to delete this bookmark. - The login page has been bookmarked and can now be accessed from the bookmarks toolbar (if you have it set to show) and the bookmark manager
Allow Browser Pop-Ups

- Select Settings
- Select Privacy & Security in the left menu
- Scroll down to the Permissions section
Note: You can also search for Permissions in the search box. - Click Exceptions... next to the Block pop-up windows option
- Enter the Meetings Essential login page URL into the Address of website box
- Click Allow
- Click Save Changes
- The Meetings Essential site has been added to the list of sites allowed to open pop-ups
Disable the Grammarly Browser Extension
If you typically use the Grammarly browser extension, it is recommended that you disable it when using Meetings Essential. It can cause conflicts when using Workflow data entry screens.

Favorite the Login Page
You can favorite the Meetings Essential login page to add it as a browser bookmark and provide an easy way to return to it in the future.
- Navigate to the Meetings Essential login page
- Click the white star and plus-sign icon in the right corner of the address bar to favorite this page
- Edit the Name and Folder location for the favorite, if desired
Note: Click More to have the Favorite added... box expand and show all folder options at once. - Click Done
Note: Click Remove to delete this favorite. - The login page has been favorited and can now be accessed from the favorites bar (if you have it set to show) and the favorites manager
Allow Browser Pop-Ups
